This is my remix of “Last Call,” a piece composed by Sam Minaie for the experimental jazz project Axis Trio. The original track was performed and recorded by Axis Trio (with my brother Amino Belyamani on piano) for their brilliant debut album "The Hand." Even if I had no familial ties to Axis Trio, I would still highly recommend buying the whole album on iTunes. But if you’re just curious to hear the original track this remix is based on, you can buy it for a buck on iTunes. Also, watch out for Axis Trio’s upcoming 2nd album, which (in addition to including another remix I made for them) sounds a lot more rocking than their first album, which takes their overall delicious sound up to the eleventh notch.
